Tessera is an independent iPhone app that helps you manage your own BrickLink store. This policy explains how the app handles data. The short version: Tessera has no servers and collects no personal data.
Tessera has no backend, no analytics, no advertising, and no third‑party tracking SDKs. The developer does not receive, store, or have access to any of your information.
To connect your store, you paste the four BrickLink API credentials you generate in your own BrickLink account (consumer key, consumer secret, token value, token secret). They are stored only in your device’s Keychain (encrypted by iOS) and are used solely to sign requests to BrickLink’s API on your behalf. They are never sent to the developer or to any third party. Removing them (Settings → Disconnect, or deleting the app) erases them from your device.
When you use Tessera, it requests your inventory, orders, pricing, and related data directly from BrickLink and displays it on your device. This can include personal information contained in your own orders — for example, your buyers’ names and shipping addresses. The app does not copy this data to any server the developer operates; it stays on your device for display. A small summary of your open orders is cached on‑device so the home‑screen widget can show it.
Tessera communicates only with BrickLink:
api.bricklink.com — the BrickLink Store API, authenticated with your keys.img.bricklink.com — item images.Your use of BrickLink is governed by BrickLink’s own terms and privacy policy. Tessera is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by BrickLink or the LEGO Group.
Tessera is intended for store owners and is not directed to children.
All app data lives on your device. To delete it, use Settings → Disconnect (removes your keys) and/or delete the app (removes the cached snapshot and all local data). There is no account on the developer’s side to delete.
This policy may be updated; material changes will appear here with a new effective date.
