Terms of Use

Tessera (“Tessera Lots”) · Effective June 14, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Joshua Roberts (“we”, “us”), the developer of Tessera (“the app”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What Tessera is

Tessera is an independent tool that lets you manage your own BrickLink store from your iPhone using BrickLink’s official Store API and credentials that you generate and provide. Tessera is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by BrickLink or the LEGO Group. “BrickLink” and “LEGO” are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe compatibility.

2. Your BrickLink account and credentials

You are responsible for generating your own BrickLink API credentials, keeping them secure, and complying with BrickLink’s API Terms of Use and all agreements governing your BrickLink account. Your credentials are stored only on your device. You are responsible for all activity performed through the app using your credentials.

3. Live actions on your store

The app can make real changes to your live BrickLink store — for example, updating prices, changing order statuses, and creating inventory lots. You are solely responsible for reviewing and confirming these actions. We are not responsible for changes you make to your store through the app.

4. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or that data shown is accurate or current (it is provided by BrickLink).

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, sales, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app.

6. Apple App Store terms

The following apply because the app is distributed through the Apple App Store:

7. Third‑party services

Your use of BrickLink through the app is subject to BrickLink’s own terms and policies. We are not responsible for BrickLink’s services or availability, and BrickLink may change or discontinue its API at any time.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. The effective date above will be updated.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, United States, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws principles.
